Hahn-Groeber Funeral Homes are for family. We believe and hold true to the idea that every family we serve should be treated just as if we were caring for our own family member. Our dedication to fulfilling the wishes of family is what sets us apart. With dignity and respect for those we serve, our family believes in providing unparalleled service with sincerity.
Hahn Funeral Home's history dates back to 1931 and it has been family owned and operated since that time. With Gary Hahn's arrival in 1965, the Hahn Funeral Home began decades of local, quality funeral service. In 2005, Richard “Rich” and Donna Groeber purchased the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Homes of Lafayette, Linden and Oxford. With this change in ownership, the funeral home’s name was also changed to Hahn-Groeber Funeral Homes.
“This will allow families to recognize the Hahn name which has been trusted and respected in the communities for decades, yet the name will also represent the Groeber name as I have served many families in the area for a long time,” explained Rich. “My wife and I feel very honored that Gary and Barbara Hahn felt that we would continue with their tradition of excellent service to the communities and families they serve.” We look forward to serving you, our friends and neighbors, for years to come.
We pride ourselves on always being one of the most reasonably priced funeral homes in the area, although many expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities and ethical standards. Consumers and families finally can learn first hand that there is a difference and families needn't fall into the trap of traditional loyalty many funeral homes attempt to count on. Today, being good is not good enough.
